French automaker Peugeot is preparing to launch the updated version of its popular 308 hatchback model in the Turkish market in the second half of 2026. The facelifted Peugeot 308 is refreshed with subtle design tweaks and stands out with its rich range of powertrain options.

The facelifted Peugeot 308 is available with four different engine options: electric (E-308), plug-in hybrid, hybrid, and diesel. This variety is supported by five trim levels (Style, Allure, GT, GT Exclusive, and Business), addressing the diverse needs of the market.

The car’s front design features innovative details. The Peugeot logo, illuminated for the first time, emphasizes the brand’s identity. Illuminated strips above the logo elegantly highlight the grille. This illumination, extending towards the updated headlights, reinforces the car’s powerful stance.

The trapezoidal shape of the lower bumper gives the vehicle a robust appearance, while the air intakes improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics. This aerodynamic optimization reduces fuel consumption and contributes to range optimization in plug-in hybrid and electric models. Three thin LED claws in the headlights serve as daytime running lights and turn signals, embodying Peugeot’s iconic light signature.

To support the transition to electric mobility, the brand is using a powerful powertrain with extended range in the new Peugeot E-308. The new E-308 provides dynamic acceleration with an electric motor delivering 115 kW of power and 270 Nm of torque. This motor is powered by a 400V battery with a capacity of 58.3 kWh (55.4 kWh usable).

The model offers an extended range of 450 km (WLTP Combined Range), an improvement of up to 34 km compared to previous models. A three-phase 11 kW on-board charger is included as standard equipment. The vehicle can charge from 20% to 80% in 32 minutes at public 100 kW fast charging points. The E-308 also features vehicle energy sharing (V2L) functionality, which allows it to transfer power to external electrical devices.

The plug-in hybrid version combines a 92 kW electric motor with a 150 hp 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder internal combustion engine, producing a total of 195 hp. The second-generation hybrid powertrain features a 17.2 kWh battery and offers an all-electric range of 85 km (combined WLTP cycle).

Furthermore, the engine range available in Turkey includes a 145 hp hybrid powertrain, the first step in the electrification transition, and a 130 hp 1.5-liter BlueHDi diesel engine, known for its proven efficiency.
